Preparation
Getting ready beforehand can make a huge difference in how your photos turn out! Here’s a bit more detailed advice to make sure everything goes smoothly:
1. Research Family Poses: Do a little research on Google for Classic Poses, Candid Poses, Interaction Poses and Close-Up Shots.
2. Practice Poses at Home: Practising at home helps everyone feel comfortable and confident during the session. Get into different poses, see what feels natural, and adjust until it looks great.
3. Clothing Choices: Coordinated, Not Matching: Avoid wearing identical outfits, but instead go for complementary colors and styles. Avoid Overly Intricate Patterns: Too many small prints or busy patterns can distract from your faces. Layers and Textures: If you want a more casual look, layering clothing or adding texture (like scarves, jackets, or cardigans) can add depth to the photos.
4. Props & Accessories: Personal items like a favourite toy, a musical instrument, or a special family object can add meaning and interest to your photos. If you’d rather not come to our London studio, no problem! We can bring the studio to you.
Whether you prefer the comfort of your own home, a nearby park, or a scenic woodland, a lifestyle photoshoot in a familiar setting can capture stunning, natural moments that showcase you and your family at your best.
While we come equipped with a full studio lighting kit, we often choose to work with the beauty of natural light, enhancing it with studio flash when needed.
This results in contemporary, iconic photos with a genuine, relaxed feel.
Our home photoshoots are priced at £600 for up to two hours. This includes all the photos taken on the day, provided to you on a high-resolution, copyright-free data disc.

Our photoshoots start at just £150. This package includes a one-hour session in the studio and two professionally edited images of your choice.
For a more relaxed and unhurried experience, we recommend exploring our other packages. These are designed to give you more time with the photographer, ensuring you capture fabulous, timeless memories with your family.
