Costs
Make Modelling portfolio shoots start at £50 for up to an hour in the studio. Let us know if you would like more time.
One high-resolution image of your choice is included in the £50
Additional images can be bought. For example, a total of 10 images, costs £150 – just £15 per image.
You will need to pay a £50 deposit to book your photoshoot. This can be done over the phone when booking.
Since opening our doors over 20+ years, Studios4u.co.uk have photographed hundreds of professional and aspiring male models.
Professional hair styling and makeup are available at an additional extra cost. You are also quite welcome to do your own hair and makeup

Our London photographers advise hiring our optional professional makeup artists for your studio photoshoot.
Both men and women can benefit from professional makeup Studio lighting can cause faces with normal makeup to look washed out and pale.

You may wish to apply your own makeup. Remember to apply it heavier than you normally would to compensate for the studio lighting.
What to Expect
For an aspiring male model, a little preparation goes a long way. Before you come in
- Come in with your hair ready styled
- Shave and wax beforehand
- Are your nails in good condition?
- Bring in any props and accessories
- Write down a list of poses you like
Have a look online and try out some poses at home. This will help you make the most of your time in the studio.
Many of our first time male models are unsure of themselves at first but don’t worry. Our photographers will give you guidance on the best poses to suit your body shape and style.

Retouching
As a guide, expect to pay from £10 per photo for light retouching and more for complex, creative manipulation
The aim of a modelling portfolio is to show YOU at your very BEST.
We definitely recommend the use of a professional makeup artist for both men and women.
Back manipulation and replacement are possible.
We will need to know in advance what your ideas are in order to give you an idea of cost and feasibility.
