Birthday Photographers
What happens on the day
- The birthday photoshoot lasts around one hour
- Come in with makeup & hair done ready to go into the studio
- There is optional makeup and hairstyling
- We will take individual and family pictures
- After the session, the photos are viewed on computers
- Don’t forget to bring in any relevant props and accessories
Examples of props are birthday cakes, balloons, party hats
Preparation
It helps our photographers enormously if you have done a bit of research on the ‘must have’ birthday poses that you really like.
- Practise posing at home, perhaps in front of a mirror
- Pay attention to hand placement and facial expressions
- We ask you not to wear patterned clothing
- Bold, strong colours work well as do black and white
- Think about coordinated clothing

*The above prices do not include makeup. If you wish to book our professional makeup artist please add £150 to the above prices. You are, of course, welcome to do your own makeup. The deposit payment for all packages with a makeup artist is £100.

Makeup
We can offer pro makeup for your shoot at an additional cost.
If you chose this option we ask you to come into the studio with no products on your face or in your hair.
You are of course more than welcome to do your own hair and makeup.
In this case, we ask you to come into the studio with your makeup fully applied and hair styled.
If you need to apply makeup in the studio please ensure that you come in earlier so that we can keep to the studio schedule.

Cost of Photo Shoots
Our Birthday photoshoots start at an incredible £50 – fantastic value for money
However, we recommend that you book at least the £150 package option.
This will give you more time in the studio resulting in a relaxed and unhurried shoot meaning better results! You also get more pictures
You will need to pay a £50 deposit (£100 if booking makeup as well) to book your photoshoot.
Payment can be made by credit or debit over the phone when booking.
